Experience how these costumes come alive through the outstanding skill of professional international Kathakali and Bharathanatyam artists from south India.
Kathakali and Bharathanatyam will be joined by Mohiniattam, Kuchipudi and Kia Kotti Kali..
Learn about how the costumes move in performance and create characters that tell a story through an elaborate sign language called Mudras, facial expressions and body language.

These performances illustrate how objects and traditions travel when people migrate and take their culture with them.
The event shows that the costumes we create for theatre have a story to tell, capture our history and represent our social identity.
All are welcome to see the costumes, meet the artists and ask questions.
