THE KATHAKALI UK TOUR 2024 COMES TO AN END.

The Kathakali UK Tour 2024 ends with happy memories of wonderful audiences from the villages of North Curry, Castle Cary, Croscombe, Chilthorne Dormer, to the cities of Liverpool, Bristol, Winchester, Bath,  London, Southampton, Plymouth and Exeter, to the towns of Milton Keynes, Bordon, Haslemere, Petersfield, Chesham and Sidcup,  

Heritage project.

Included in the tour was a heritage project featuring an exhibition of costumes, performances and workshops.

Kindly funderd by the NATIONAL LOTTERY HERTIATGE FUND we were able to celebate the art, culture and people of Kerala settled in the UK.

This exciting project was partnered by The Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre, Bordon, Petersfield Museum & Art Gallery, Haslemere Educational Museum and Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust.

The Kala Chethena Kathakali Company invited Upahaar Dance Company, Vidya Thirunarayan and Navadhara School of Music to join the project and add to the brillaince of Kerala culture.
