THANK YOU - KATHAKALI GETS FUNDING FROM THE CULTURAL RECOVERY GRANT

The Kala Chethena Kathakali Troupe has received £50,000 from the Cultural recovery Grant - we are delighted. 

We will survive

Earlier this year all our work was cancelled and we didn`t know how we could continue. This much appreciated funding will enable us to survive and be ready to perform again when lockdowns are lifted  and  we can come together to dance, sing, play music, tell stories and enjoy ourselves without fear of catching Coronavirus. 

Our thought are with others

Although our future is secure and we celebrate this wonderful news our thoughts go out to others who are not so lucky, struggling, have lost loved ones and going through unprecidented times of hardship and uncertainty. 

We will get through this - together.
